Kevin Jennings: A Strong Voice for Students

The National Alliance of Pupil Services Organizations (NAPSO), a coalition of national professional organizations representing over a million members who provide and support a variety of school-based prevention and intervention services, has already established a favorable working relationship with Kevin Jennings, Assistant Deputy Secretary and Director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools at the U.S. Department of Education. It is clear to NAPSO members that Mr. Jennings is dedicated to ensuring a positive school climate and safe learning environment for every student. His prior professional experience affords the U.S. Department of Education the opportunity to explore appropriate ways to address the educational needs of the 'whole child.'  NAPSO looks forward to continuing to work with Mr. Jennings to help make each school a place where students are nurtured by teachers and specialized instructional support personnel so they meet academic and life success.
